FIRST AID AT WORK - THREE DAY COURSE - with Forestry
The full three-day First Aid at Work Certificate is suitable for high risk working environments. The course will equip candidates with confidence and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies in the workplace. This course will include First Aid for Forestry covering blades e.g., brush cutters, chainsaws, hedge cutter, pole saw, limes disease and wounds etc.

A one- day course covering basic first aid in the workplace. This course covers the minimum requirements of first aid as per the HSE regulations

Getting to know some of the rules and regulations affecting your operations using agricultural vehicles on the road, with the inclusion of new and up to date legislation changes regarding towing/fuels/weights etc.

Either a one-day or a half day course for those who are required to create a safe system of work to operate machinery / plant near overhead power lines.

WORKING SAFELY IN AGRICULTURE—LANTRA
Know the effects that accidents and ill health can have upon businesses, people, health, and safety. Be aware of the major sources of accident and ill health in the work environment. Know appropriate measures to control risks in the land-based sector. Understand the importance measures that should be in place to protect health and safety and are properly maintained. Be aware of risks to children, vulnerable adults and visitors undertaking land-based activities.

CHAINSAW - FELLING TREES OVER 380MM
Candidates must have obtained CS30 and CS31 City in Guilds to advance on to this course.

PORTABLE APPLIANCE TESTING
A one-day course designed to equip you with practical skills and knowledge required to conduct PAT testing. Students gain practical experience through assessing a wide variety equipment and will receive a Certificate of Competence upon completion of a practical assessment. No previous electrical knowledge or qualifications are required. Students are also welcome, to bring their own test equipment to use. Training manual provided
